Sweet Summer Wine

Amid the torrent of heat and memories,
I savour your sublime taste, my sweet summer wine
drowning in this perception of bliss

I drench the world in your silken touch,
detached in this heady bouquet of oblivion,
amid the torrent of heat and memories

Falling into the embrace of your fleeting salvation,
this nirvana of sensory gratification,
I savour your sublime taste, my sweet summer wine

Submerged in my everlasting, despairing escape
from a self-imposed judgement of transgressions
drowning in this perception of bliss
