National Poetry Month Day 11: The Language of Flowers

Today’s prompt was The Language of Flowers so I wrote a Rime Couee love poem. Enjoy.

The Language of Flowers

Purple sprigs say forget-me-not
while baby’s breath declare what aught
to be entwined for love
True rose assertion of intent
lovely jasmine for sweet consent
as the sun shines above
