Festive Ideas
“Have you seen this list of ideas from Corporate? Do they actually want us to test out these concepts?” Frankie rushed into the main control room, waving his tablet.
“Yep. And send them our feedback.”
“Oh, they’ll get it. Some of these are crazy.” He tapped his screen. “Chase the Turkey. Run around after a turkey with a cleaver. Fun for the whole family? Are they serious?”
“Seems so.”
“And these ones. Pilgrims vs. zombie turkeys. Santa gets kidnapped by aliens. Santa gets kidnapped by penguins. All been done.”
“Read the last one.”
“Santa and the reindeer go to Vegas?”
A Holiday Musical?
“Are you sure about this one? The opening musical was fun, but this? Shouldn’t the robbers in Ho, Ho, Hold ‘em Up have weapons?”
“It’s just a glitch. They’re supposed to be laser guns, not carrots. They’re robbing a spaceship, remember? I think the code for the bank dance number got crossed with the later reindeer chase scene.”
“Okay. Explain to me why there are reindeer on a spaceship?”
“They’re not real reindeer, they’re undercover robots. Here I think I fixed it.” Frankie tapped a button. “Well, shoot.”
“I assume the robbers are not supposed to be wearing rainbow tutus?”
Gingerbread Charms
“Another one of the ideas from Corporate?” I snickered.
“Well, I got Ho, Ho, Hold ‘em Up to work, didn’t I. I’ll figure this one out.”
“Are you sure you want to? This is so ridiculous it’s funny.”
“The gingerbread men in tiny speedos are not funny!”
“I don’t know. A giant cup of cocoa, all the gingerbread men in their speedos taking a dip.” I chuckled as Frankie glared at me.
“This is a charming festive scene where all the holiday cookies come to life, and merrily dance and sing, not a pool party!”
“I like my idea better.”
