It’s poetry’s turn under the midnight moonlight. Here are three dark poems for day four.

Don’t Take Candy From Serial Killers
Madness and a murder van
with pretty little lollipops
Never trust the scary man,
madness and a murder van
Bloody slaughter is his plan
and your corpse for the cops
Madness and a murder van
with pretty little lollipops
Ghastly Graves
Against the midnight moonlight,
swirling within the night’s oblivion
echoing shades of the dead weep
From innumerable mouldering graves
their keening clamour ascends
against the midnight moonlight
While ghostly spirits arise,
clawing beyond an earthly prison
swirling within the night’s oblivion
Haunting visions in ethereal
Nothing left but their pain,
echoing shades of the dead weep
And this poem is from my book, Poetry of Monsters and Madness.
Black Star
Raw
Pulsing
Puissance
Austere extent
within ruined descent
Shrouded intensity
Swallowing sanguinity
A flicker in infinity,
as the monument of time wanders
against the precedent of destruction
