Three creepy eldritch inspired tales today. Enjoy.

The Abyss
I never believed…
Close your mind. Close your eyes. Don’t look. The abyss is waiting for you. Dark things. Hungry things. Things that whisper. I didn’t want to…no, never say what you did. Keep the secrets.
I should have believed…
They are in my thoughts. Always, always. Murmurs, voices, sharing secrets. Always secrets. I don’t want to know. Why do I know?
Help me.
I’m not insane, but I am madness. Swallowed by the vast, empty void. Drowning in blood. The screams, oh the haunting screams.
I believe now.
There is no escape from the abyss…they are coming.
Cthulhu
I am dreaming in R’lyeh, bound in the embrace of the cold depths of the sea, crushed by the black chasm of the void. Beyond my slumber lingers the stars and the screams of man, feeding my visions of blood and bone.
We are entwined, my existence shackled within the atoms of the universe, eternally constrained in the twisted thoughts of living creatures, in the depravity you funnel to sweeten my dreams. Your horrors feed me; I suckle from your wicked ways.
I am dreaming in R’lyeh, far beneath the surface of the sea. I am waiting to be free…
Time
The clock is ticking, a beating rhythm counting down the hours to madness. I’m watching the hands turning, churning, ever relentless, falling into darkness as the seconds slide into the blessed oblivion.
Oh, I crave that oblivion. The peace of the void, without the tick, tick time that never lets me forget. My mind is breaking, cracking, continually tapping a beating rhythm towards my insanity, my extermination of self.
Why are they here? What do they want of me? The passing of days brings them closer; they swarm over me in waves as the clock turns, constantly turns into madness.
