Today’s prompt, I arise and unbuild it again, was chosen by one of the members of my Facebook group and is a line from one of her favourite poems. The following free verse poem is what I wrote from that inspiration. Enjoy.
Arise and Unbuild
Arise from your stupor,
your indolent habits,
your bed of societal lies
and unbuild the world
Release it from its hate
From its insular myopia
and mire of antiquated fear
Arise and let go…
