Like fire on the mountain snow
nestled in the quiet night;
splendid in a silhouette glow
Sheltered from the chill wind flow,
a stark, beautiful, enduring sight
Like fire on the mountain snow
High above the world below,
a lustrous view, a beacon bright
Splendid in a silhouette glow
Shimmering wonder to bestow
enchantment, from a height
Like fire on the mountain snow
Gleaming clear, a midnight hello
to stir ideal dreams to flight
Splendid in a silhouette glow
Moment in time, a flawless show,
a perfect picturesque delight
Like fire on the mountain snow
