Not entirely happy with today’s poem, but here it is. I wrote a rime couee from the prompt Enchanted Fable.

Enchanted Fable

Sylvan glade of emerald green
where faeries haunt in-between
heartbeats of mortal time
Lilac heather along the edge
beckoning souls beyond the hedge
to die amidst the thyme
