Some light holiday drabbles with Frankie and Joni, so enjoy. Also, there won’t be a post next week as it’s Christmas, but we may be back on New Year’s Day.
Making a List
“Who should we invite to the Christmas party? It’s Eric’s and Oswald’s first holiday here, and I want to make it special. I’ve got Doctor Quackenboss, Arabella, and the other cows, Fluffy and Fluffernutter, but I was wondering, should we ask Zippy and Zelda?”
“Why not? They’re friends of Oswald. Just stipulate no poo flinging at the party. And make sure you close the dimension behind them if they come.”
“Okay, I’ll add them to the list. What about Debbie, that Time Sheep?”
“Maybe ask Eric about that one, not sure if he’d want…wait, you can contact the Time Sheep?”
Gonna Find Out
“Well, not Debbie exactly, but the scientists at the Flying Monkey Time Institute, and they’ve been giving me updates. Plus, we’ve been discussing theories. Did you know their time mechanism is based on a flux capa—”
“You’re having interdimensional conversations and didn’t tell me! Do you know how many Corporate rules that breaks? Rules implemented because of us?” I could feel a headache coming on.
“Corporate knows all about it.”
“What? Corporate knows?”
“It was their idea. Now, should we invite Debbie or not?”
“Of course it was. Sure, invite the sheep, just ask Eric first. The more the merrier…”
Naughty or Nice
“Everyone got the rules for the Christmas party? No poo flinging, no eating the pets, no time jumping, and absolutely no ghouls?”
“Yes, and everyone agreed.”
“Okay. Fingers crossed nothing goes wrong…”
“Who invited her?” I glared at the Frost Ninja Bear.
“No one, she crashed the party. I think she has a crush on Oswald.”
“Or she wants to kill him.”
“Nah, I fixed the Weather Warriors. No more evil.”
“Maybe Debbie will eat her,” I muttered.
“Cheer up. Enjoy the party.” Frankie raised his glass. “Merry Christmas and Ghouls Bless us, every one.”
“You’d better be joking, Frankie.”
