Here’s today’s poem, a triolet from the prompt, Grand Illusions. Enjoy.

Grand Illusions
Dainty gossamer words, in absurdist tones
a sugar-coated world façade of lies,
ivory towers in a contest of thrones
Dainty gossamer words, in absurdist tones,
lacing false delusions of speculative unknowns,
shrouding all those faults beneath a guise
Dainty gossamer words, in absurdist tones
a sugar-coated world façade of lies

Your poem reminds me of Gustave Le Bon’s saying “The masses are thirsty for lies and illusions.”
