National Poetry Month Day 30: I Am Done

So we have come to the end of the month and the final poem for April, with the appropriate prompt, I’m done. Today I’m using the Blitz form, so expect a bit of nonsense, but enjoy.

I Am Done

Done away
Done for now
Now it begins
Now and forever
Forever young
Forever sucks
Sucks big time
Sucks lollipops
Lollipops on a stick
Lollipops sweet
Sweet treat
Sweet smile
Smile frozen
Smile for the camera
Camera clicks
Camera lies
Lies said
Lies in your head
Head up
Head out
Out and about
Out cold
Cold day
Cold brew
Brew spells
Brew beer
Beer goggles
Beer in a box
Box and a bow
Box it up
Up and at ‘em
Up and about
About a boy
About time
Time flows
Time and again
Again we march
Again we stand
Stand out
Stand for something
Something wicked
Something is coming
Coming out
Coming for you
You are alone
You are loved
Loved and lost
Loved unconditionally
Unconditionally
Lost
