No Drabble Wednesday this week do to a busy schedule, Camp NaNoWriMo, and some general mind mush when it comes to writing. I do have some quick updates for you about what’s been happening with me.
First, some big news. I got a job offer, and I’m now the Media Manager at Crystal Lake Publishing/Entertainment. Which means I’ll be doing interviews and other media related stuff for them on a regular basis now. I’m looking forward to working with everyone over at Crystal Lake.
My Camp NaNo project is going well and the first draft of the paranormal cozy mystery I’m writing is coming together. I’m only doing 15,000 word count goal this time, and I’m glad I did because the easy July I planned has gotten much more busy.
Coming up this Sunday, July 16th, I’ll be hosting a panel on Writing History Into Your Fiction. The other panelists are Olivia Atwater, Margaret Pinard, Christie Stratos, Leah Lindeman, and Courtney Millecam, all historic fiction and/or historic fantasy authors. It should be a fantastic time, so please join us: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfT7YPej9zY
And on July 13th, I’ll be interviewing author Linsey Kinsella about his new book, The Heart of Pangaea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8YcDlcHT0E
Also, lastly, Fairy Tales and Nightmares will be out in October, so expect the full cover reveal and some teasers in the coming months.
That’s it for today, and hopefully Drabble Wednesday will be back next week.
Congrats!
