Day 28 – National Poetry Month: Collywobbles

Today is a silly day, with a free verse poem from the prompt, Collywobbles. Enjoy.

Collywobbles

Oh, I have the collywobbles
those flutters in my tummy
My nerves are all a jangle
and feeling ever so funny

Really, Rupert?
I told you not to eat the fish
It smelled quite off

Oh, I have the collywobbles
that sloshing in my belly
Something’s swirling ‘round
and spewing chunks so smelly

Ewww, Rupert!
How dare you? Such a mess
Someone get a mop
