National Poetry Month Day 22: Run the Moon

Back again with another word cloud prompt and this one is Run the Moon. I went with a chant poem again, so enjoy.

Run the Moon

Run the wild wood
yearning to be free
against the midnight shade
and the ghosts of yesterday
Run the moon

Dance the wild wood
and let the night unfold
where the will-o-wisps shine
and the old faeries sing
Run the moon

Escaped to the wild wood
embracing your desire
commune with the spirits
where your soul belongs
Run the moon
