National Poetry Month Day 21: Beneath Your Eyes

Another word cloud prompt today, Beneath Your Eyes, and a free verse poem. Enjoy.

Beneath Your Eyes

Beauty in their swirling colour
icy blue, but alluring
with sadness hinted in their edges

No one knows you,
because you shroud
your inner existence
behind the mask

Secrets in their swirling colour
icy blue in sorrow
pain gathered beneath your eyes
