Frailty in Gray

Delicate blooms lose their grace
Seasons wither on the vine,
vitality vanished without a trace
We all age like intangible wine

Seasons wither on the vine
the years sprint by in a flash
We all age like intangible wine
with memories fluttering like ash

The years sprint by in a flash,
our life, a study in obscurity
with memories fluttering like ash
a falling winter of maturity

Our life, a study in obscurity
vitality vanished without a trace;
a falling winter of maturity
Delicate blooms lose their grace
