National Poetry Month Day 19: Blood Night

Today I start prompts plucked from randomly generated word clouds based on my books. The first prompt is Blood Night and I wrote a short free verse poem. Enjoy.

Blood Night

Crimson moon swirling shadows,
shall we dance upon your tune?
In the mist, ‘til the morn,
among the forest dark and deep
Shall we whisper all our secrets
to our sanguine mother moon?
