National Poetry Month Day 1: Crimson Blossom

Today is the first day of April, and so the annual National Poetry Month tradition begins with me posting a poem a day. Here is the first entry to kick us off, starting small with a haiku from the prompt, Crimson Blossom.

Crimson Blossom

Silken cherry bloom
Fluttering petals falling
Stained red with your blood
