It’s Day 4 and time for the annual dark poems. Enjoy the creepy fairy tale themed delights.

Wolf at the Door
Come little girl,
what do you see?
I will smile for you,
teeth gleaming
alabaster perfection
I will flatter you
with hollow words
and nourish you,
toying with your soul
until it craves
my saccharine coated
layers of candy adulation
Until you lose yourself
in my ebullient forest
of stygian nightmares
Where I will devour you
while you scream
Princess
Prisoners in their web of lies
selling one perfect fairy tale
Broken underneath a guise,
prisoners in their web of lies;
somewhere respective totality dies
seeking that ever deceitful grail
Prisoners in their web of lies
selling one perfect fairy tale
Lord of The Night
Scream through the slashing rain
to reflect your pitiable, wild fury
beyond the moonlight blinding
mercy against flowing blood
let loose from impermanent flesh
Death rustles in your ear
spouting malevolence
manifesting your savage ferocity
across the ebon mindscape
of everyone’s nocturnal nightmare
