Be Afraid of the Dark…
Okay, I’m back from the dark void to once again begin National Poetry Month. I’m doing okay in the midst of the mad virus situation and I hope these daily poems provide a little entertainment and distraction while we wait out the current situation.
Faith
In the darkness
you are not alone
Although your steps
may sometimes falter
Light a candle,
say a prayer
In the darkness
seek out the light
with your kindest thoughts
and your compassion
Light a candle,
say a prayer
In the darkness
we must always see,
the grieving and the lost
To remember them
Light a candle,
say a prayer

Thanks this was very touching and a wonderful way to remind people we’re alone together.
